Alice Paul was an extraordinary woman. She fought so hard for females in America to have a voice, and a right to vote. She helped us gain our rights. She led so many powerful women into battle with the government, and came out stronger. There were so many obstacles in her way, and people telling her that what she is doing is useless. Alice Paul had a gigantic impact on U.S history. So much would be different if she didn't do what she did. People tend to not know how these types of things happened. A great deal of people don't even know who Alice Paul is, and what she did for them and their family.
Why did she do it? How was she able to keep going even when she was being beaten, and berated for wanting basic rights? There were millions of women who wanted that change but were too scared to try and take action. They didn’t want to be an outcast in society and be looked down upon. Yet Alice didn’t care. She didn’t care about any of those things. Her legacy will forever reign and we are all forever indebted to her for her actions.
